INDIAN RAILWAY CATERING AND TOURISM CORPORATION LTD, New Delhi – A public sector undertaking under Ministry of Railways the E commerce website to sell rail tickets online www.irctc.co.in as Deputy General Manager, since 2005 to 2017 - Managed corporate marketing and communications functions, driven 100 Crore revenue. Strategic Partnerships, Tenders, Alliances, Direct brand management, PR, media relations, corporate positioning, product launches, advertising, sales collateral and tradeshow marketing.

Selected Accomplishments:

  • Developed and launched integrated multi-channel catalog, web and direct marketing campaigns that propelled revenues from Two Crore annually to 100 Crores of Marketing revenues annually.
  • Created the ticketing web portal to transform previously archaic railway ticketing into a dynamic website improving flow and adding an effective E-ticketing solution.
  • The overall performance of E-commerce business including growth, revenue and margin targets. Managed online customer acquisition, retention and loyalty programs.
  • Experience of creating new business groups across consumer and B2B, consumer Internet.
